5.6 Release Notes
- EmbTrak 5.0 or higher requires Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6. It also requires Windows Server 2012 O/S or higher (Windows Server 2008 is no longer supported on 5.0 or higher). If you are running Windows Server 2008 SP2 or earlier, you should update your O/S to the most recent WIndows Server O/S.
- Design Library - Excel Data Exporter - The Excel Data Exporter generates an .xlsx file of data relating to the columns of the currently highlighted Design Library records. To change which columns display, right-click in the column header area and check/uncheck desired fields. Available fields for export now include Stitch Count, Height, Width. Below is the entire list of fields available.

- Design Library - (Re)create Routing - As of 5.0, Designs have a Routing instead of just selecting the next step from a dropdown list. The design’s routing is established at the time the record is created or initial update to 5.x. If you update your Design Routing, only new designs will be assigned the new routing.
As of 5.6, you can update existing designs’ routing by using the (Re)create Routing option. Highlight the design(s) for which you want to update routing and click (Re)create Routing at the top of the screen. This will establish a new routing for the selected design(s) and reset the Status to the beginning of the routing. (Similar idea as deleting/recreating work orders)
- Design Library - Advanced Get Screen - Previously, the From and To Date Range defaulted to 06/05/2012. Now they both default to today’s date.
- Capacity Configuration Screen - You can now set the Production Days before Required Date = 0. Previously, it could only be set between 1-30.
- Work Order Dispatch - In the Work Order Grid, there are now columns for Capacity Units Per Item and Total Item Qty. Total Item Qty can be selected/deselected by right-clicking in the column header area. Capacity Units Per Item will display when available. You can also sort your work order list by either of these columns by double-clicking in the column header.
- Capacity Units must be set up under System -> Administration -> Capacity. Ex. Embroider’s Capacity Measure is Stitches, Screen Print is Colors, etc.
- Sales Order Management Screen - You can now see the Number of Stitches for Design on the active sales order line. This field displays below the Design Viewer.
