- Change Routing Status for a Group of Work Orders -- In Work Order Dispatch, you can now select a single or multiple work order(s) and update their routing status. This option is available for groups of work orders which are at the same due step. They can be advanced to the next step or set to their previous step.
- To use this feature, go to the Work Order Dispatch screen. Select the orders for which you wish to change the status.
- Right Click
- Select Routing (this option is only enabled if all of the selected orders are currently at the same Due Step)
- If there is more than one Due Step in common, select the Due Step from which you wish to move
- Select Previous or Next
- All of the highlighted orders will move to the selected step in the routing.
- To use this feature, go to the Work Order Dispatch screen. Select the orders for which you wish to change the status.
- Address Validation - Address Validation is a feature that can now be selected when you install EmbTrak on a client. When installed, Sales Order Billing and Shipping Addresses will be validated against the UPS or USPS listing for addresses in the US and Canada. Address Validation requires an internet connection. Contact EmbTrak if you would like to add this feature.
Validation occurs when the customer is first assigned to an order or whenever the address is modified on an order. A box will display on the address tabs of the Sales Order Header.
- If the address is validated with UPS/USPS, the box will be checked.
- If the address is not validated with UPS/USPS, outside the US or Canada, or the internet is not available, the box will remain unchecked.
- Note: There may be situations where the address may be incorrect (ex.City is correct, but Zip is incorrect), but is close enough that it validates with UPS. In these cases, EmbTrak will reflect that the address is validated, but the actual address will remain unchanged.
- Print Work Order Screen - There is now a simplified Print Work Order screen that only displays Print Profile, Number of Copies and Orders to print. If you prefer the former screen, use the Advanced button to click there.
