"Why do we need a Decoration System? We already have an ERP."

Well, as you probably know, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems include few or no decoration features. (Entering data into a note field doesn't really count).

Before EmbTrak, there were only small decoration business systems—essentially computer business systems with a sprinkling of decoration features. They couldn't provide decoration features worthy of large site consideration.

EmbTrak is different. It's been implemented by some of the largest decorated products companies over the past 23 years as an industrial grade decoration system with state-of-the-art capabilities. EmbTrak brings unequalled quality, speed and efficiency by embedding decoration features no other system has.

So, leverage EmbTrak to handle fulfillment so your people can focus more on what they do best--sales.

Scroll down to see how.

1. Integrate with EmbTrak

EmbTrak orders can be manually entered into EmbTrak. But, the best solution is an API integration between your existing order entry system, whether it is an ERP like NetSuite or an SFA (Sales Force Automation) system like RepSpark or an eCommerce website.

(If you don't have an ERP, EmbTrak integrates with QuickBooks.)

EmbTrak has drop-in interfaces to popular systems which can replace your PDF paper order export by sending the order to EmbTrak. (Brian, our expert techie, will really do it. We just use Mr. Peabody's picture for street cred.)

The result is an automatic, high volume integration with the best decoration system on the planet.

Then the user can add multiple processes, design numbers, positions, sizes--all in the same order.

2. Edit the Order in EmbTrak

This is where EmbTrak can save major time and money.

Suppose an employee is collecting orders from your sales reps to prepare them for your contractor or production department. With EmbTrak, the user can open the Color Card screen to look up the design and see the exact color sequence used with each SKU/Color item on every order. That color sequence can be selected from a drop list to color the design. Color Proofs can be emailed from EmbTrak to the customer. If changes are needed, your user can add, delete or edit decorations.

EmbTrak provides you with the same advanced tools used by decorators and contractors. These tools have a color history of every SKU/Color by design on every sales order in the system. No need to call the production people and ask, because you have the history.

3. EmbTrak DecorLINK

Once approved by the customer, the order(s) can be moved to your inhouse production department using EmbTrak's Production Management system. Or the user could decide to send the order(s) to a selected contractor via EmbTrak DecorLINK.

DecorLINK is EmbTrak's proprietary network linking every EmbTrak site over a secure Internet network. To send orders, the user first opens the EmbTrak DecorLINK web site from the EmbTrak program. Next, the user selects the orders to be sent to a specific EmbTrak site then selects the site itself from a list of contractors with whom your company has an agreement. Finally, the user clicks the send button and all the orders are transmitted.

The contractor CSR will review the order and enter any questions about the order into the EmbTrak DecorLINK Audit Log. These notes will appear to your CSR. Your CSR responses in the log will form a record of resolutions to questions. Once the notes are entered, an email will be sent to the sending party telling them to look in the Audit Log for new notes. Once accepted by the contractor in the Log, the order will be processed in their own state-of-the-art EmbTrak Production system.

Status updates will be posted back to you through EmbTrak DecorLINK.

Note that you can decide with each contractor, what role each of you will play in managing designs and colors. For example, you might want to be the holder of "authorized" colors and/or design files. Or, the contractor might do that for you.

4. Production

Orders sent to the selected contractor via EmbTrak Connect are received by the contractor in their EmbTrak system.

You could also send some or all orders to your inhouse production staff if they are using EmbTrak. Those orders would flow directly to them without the need for EmbTrak DecorLINK.

The contractor CSR will review the order and enter any questions about the order into the EmbTrak Connect record Audit Log. These notes will appear to your CSR. Your CSR responses in the log will form a record of resolutions to questions. Once okayed by the contractor in the log, the order will be processed in their own state-of-the-art EmbTrak Production system.

Status updates will be posted back to you through EmbTrak DecorLINK.
