For customers upgrading from 5.19 or earlier, please read the Release Notes for 5.20 and 5.21
- New Color Screens -- For customers on 5.19 or earlier, 5.22 includes a Color Conversion that must be completed before using the 5.22 programs.
- There is separate documentation which will walk you through this conversion and it is a conversion that requires user interaction, preferably including someone like a colorist who is most knowledgeable about the color palettes you use.
- It is best to perform this conversion and update in a test environment prior to running in production to
- get an idea of the time you will need to allow for the update
- have a test run of the color conversion so that you can minimize the overall time of your update
- allow your users to access the test system so they can become familiar with the new Color screens, as well as the new 5.21 features: Multiple Color Card and Assigning Color Cards on the Sales Order screen
- Visual Scheduler - Super Orders (Enterprise customers only) -- Super Orders allow the customer to take advantage of multiple orders all sharing the same design, auto-scheduling them all on the same machine as one order instead of being scheduled individually on a smaller machine(s).
- For instance, 50 orders that all share the same design, even if they aren't the same customer or account, could be auto-scheduled into one order that is assigned to a much larger machine, increasing productivity and saving time.
- There are also options available to force only the same account and set date preferences in order to select a certain range of orders & customize the super order.
- For more details and information, please contact EmbTrak support.
- Adding New Sales Orders -- Enterprise users can now enter additional new Sales orders without having to exit/reopen the Sales Order screen.
- Reports - Work Order Operation Due Summary -- This report can be found under Print - Reports - Work Orders. The Work Order Operation Due Summary provides a monthly total of open work orders and work order quantities by operation due. Selection of the Process Type is required. Including work orders at the Terminal Step is optional.
