5.21 Release Notes
- Multiple Color Cards -- Previously, you could create multiple color cards for a customer/design, but Color Coordination would only display the first color card found. Now, all Color Cards for a given customer/design will be available for selection in Color Coordination.
- Color Cards -- The Color Card screen has been rearranged to accommodate the Color Card usage area.
- Sequence - Each Color Card for a given Account/Design will be assigned a Sequence automatically. The database conversion initializes Color Cards prior to EmbTrak 5.21 starting with S1. Once a Color Card Sequence has been used on a Sales order, it cannot be deleted and the colors cannot be edited. You can make a Color Card Sequence Inactive and it will no longer show up in the Color Card dropdowns on the Sales Order or Color Coordination screens.
- Active - Active Color Card Sequences will display on the Sales Order or Color Coordination screens. Inactive Color Card Sequences will not.
- Color Card Usage - The Usage grid reflects the total of Sales Order lines where this Color Card Sequence has been used for a given Product/Color.
- This can be used to see which Color Card Sequences have been used for a given Product or Color.
- Usage is sorted by Color.
- If a Color Card Sequence was only assigned on the Work Order, those assignments will not be reflected in the Sales Order usage.
- Color Card Report - The Color Card Report now includes the Color Card Sequence..
- Selecting a Color Card on the Sales Order screen -- For users who are entering Sales Orders and already know which Color Card should be used, you can now select Color Cards from the Sales Order screen.
- Use the Column selector to display the ColorCard columns.
- When entering a decoration, select the desired Color Card Sequence and Account Number from the dropdown. If there are no Color Cards for the order customer and decoration design, all Color Card Sequences for any customer for the decoration design will display.
- If the Color Card Sequence you need is not in the dropdown, open the Color Card screen. Add and save the new Color Card Sequence. Go back to the Sales Order tab and click Refresh. The new Color Card Sequence will then be available in the dropdown.
- When the Sales Order is converted to Work Orders, the colors from the selected Color Card Sequence will automatically fill in on the Work Order. If all of the lines on a given Work Order are completed with valid colors, the Work Order will also be considered Finished and OC030 coloring step will be marked as complete. Colored by and Color Date will also be filled in.
- If you change the Design number on an existing decoration, any selected Color Card Sequence will be cleared and the dropdown will contain sequences for the new Design.
- Color Coordination -
- When you first go into an order, in the Color Card area, you see the first Color Card for the order customer/design. The dropdown will include any other sequences available for the order customer/design. (1)
- If there are no Color Cards for the order’s customer/design, the dropdown will include any color cards for the order’s design. When this is the case, the active Color Card’s Account and Design will display in red font. (2)
- After clicking Match, you can look through the associated Color Cards by choosing a different Sequence. Once you’ve selected a Color Card Sequence, then you can use it like you have previously on the Editor tab (ex. Copy to Rows, Copy from Color Card).
- Like before, you can also click New to add and save a new Color Card Sequence (with appropriate permissions).
- If a Color Card Sequence has been selected on a Sales Order, the Color Card colors cannot be modified. However, you can change and save the Stop Descriptions.
