- Export Sales Orders or Customers to QuickBooks - The record data exporting from EmbTrak will be considered authoritative over the the data in QuickBooks. Previously, if the QuickBooks record changed and that change had not been imported into EmbTrak, you would receive errors when trying to export. For example, if a customer’s address has changed in QuickBooks, when you export an EmbTrak Sales Order for that customer, you would receive errors saying that the records do not match. Now, the EmbTrak Sales Order will export and overwrite the QuickBooks records if they do not already match.
- Auto-Coloring is now available as an optional feature. With auto-coloring, you can configure specific customers and/or designs to automatically complete coloring and advance in routing if the order lines find a match in color history. See Appendix A. Please contact EmbTrak if you are interested in purchasing this feature.
Appendix A
Auto-Coloring
First Available Version: 5.1
Available in Editions: Enterprise, Elite
Auto-Coloring is a feature intended to automate coloring and finishing orders that have previous color history and do not need to be verified before advancing to the Schedule Embroidery step. It can work in conjunction with the optional Automatic Convert Sales Orders to Work Orders feature.
Users will identify criteria to determine which orders are eligible for the auto-coloring process. For example, you may choose to attempt to auto-color any order for a particular customer or a particular customer/design combination.
Setup Configuration
Initial Configuration should be setup with assistance from EmbTrak.
To view Auto-Coloring Criteria, go to System -> Administration -> Edit Auto-Coloring Criteria
Milestones for Color Coordination and Schedule Production should be set up.
Process
Upon creation of work orders:
- If an order is eligible for auto-coloring and all of the order lines have a match in color history, the order will accept the matched colors, be marked as finished, and advance to the Schedule Production routing step.
- If an order is eligible for auto-coloring and some of the order lines have a match in color history, the order lines that matched will receive those thread colors. Unmatched order lines will remain blank. The work order will be left at the Coloring routing step. The work order will not be Finished.
- If an order is eligible for auto-coloring and none of the order lines have a match in color history, work order will remain at OC020 until advanced by a user or through the traditional coloring process in Color Coordination.
- If an order is not eligible for auto-coloring, work orders will remain at OC020 until advanced by a user or through the traditional coloring process in Color Coordination.
